We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Grab Driver (HGV Class 2) to join our growing team in Oxfordshire. This is a hands-on role involving the operation of a grab lorry for the collection and delivery of materials to and from construction and landscaping sites across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate grab lorry safely and efficiently to collect and deliver aggregates, spoil, and other materials
- Maintain high levels of customer service at all times
- Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety and road transport regulations
- Liaise with site managers and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Grab ticket (Clamshell/HIAB) essential
- Minimum 1 year of grab driving experience preferred
- Strong understanding of road safety and manual handling
- Good communication and time management skills
