Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of the P&L and overall business performance
- Understanding the operation, people, customers and finances
- Bringing greater structure, accountability and clarity
- Identifying what needs to change, simplify or improve
- Leading a thoughtful re-structure and re-set where required
- Strengthening processes, systems and ways of working
- Making clear, timely decisions in the best interests of the business
- Protecting and strengthening the relationship with the key customer
- Building a stable platform from which the business can grow
Experience Required
- Senior leadership experience as an MD, GM, COO or similar
- Proven P&L ownership
- Strong operational and commercial judgement
- Experience of re-structuring, transformation or organisational change
- The confidence to make difficult decisions when they are right for the business
- A practical, hands-on approach to leadership
