🛠️ What’s the job?

We\'re looking for a Business Development Manager to join MPowered Max, our mortgage lending team. You’ll proactively handle distribution, build your network and manage queries from intermediaries to manage lending volumes and ensure timely case support.

MPowered Max is our way of making sure our broker-partners get the support they need, when and how it suits them best. You’ll collaborate with internal teams so everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From building connections to fielding questions, you’ll be part of a fast-paced environment where every day is different.

📋 Key responsibilities:

  • Build and manage broker relationships, focusing on driving new business and increasing case quality
  • Deliver engaging presentations and training sessions to promote MPowered Max
  • Use broker feedback and market insight to inform internal improvements and future propositions
  • Offer technical support to intermediaries, keeping them updated on case statuses
  • Respond to mortgage criteria questions and provide clear guidance
  • Work with internal teams (Technology, Marketing, RevOps, Data Science) to solve operational or technical issues
  • Maintain (and continuously improve) our broker database and ongoing case processes
  • Communicate with third parties and intermediaries to ensure professional service delivery
  • Contribute to overall business goals by identifying process improvements and strategic opportunities

🔍 What we’re looking for from you...

We\'re open minded about your background. You\'ll be joining a team of incredibly passionate people that are at the top of their field. You should be experienced and comfortable with:

  • Problem solving that enable you to handle everything from basic inquiries to complex cases
  • Communicating both verbally and over text with a knack for building relationships
  • Being a team player who can multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with FCA regulations and a CeMap qualification or a relevant degree in finance/business is a nice to have. A background in mortgage lending or financial services is a big plus.

📍 A note on location.

We\'ve offices in Guildford and Leeds. We love hybrid work but we\'d expect you to join us in an office about 2-3 times a week.
