Responsibilities
Operate laundry machinery such as washers, dryers, and folding equipment with precision and care
Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently while maintaining safety protocols
Inspect linens and fabrics for damage or stains, ensuring only quality items are used or sent for further cleaning
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace
Assist with stock control by monitoring supplies of detergents, cleaning agents, and laundry accessories
Collaborate with team members to meet daily laundry processing targets in a timely manner
Maintain accurate records of laundry cycles, loads processed, and any issues encountered
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality laundry environment is highly desirable
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Willingness to follow health, safety, and operational procedures diligently
Basic understanding of laundry equipment operation is advantageous
