Are you motivated by having a job that you can make your own? Would you like your own office, and the chance to be an integral part of a complex industrial manufacturing operation where your work will be recognised and appreciated by the whole site?
A newly created position seeing you manage the new stock control system, ensuring the right materials, goods and components are in the right place at the right time. It is joining a team of 40 people who are motivated and committed to growing the business.
You’ll be in charge of receiving deliveries, including checking items and liaising with suppliers about discrepancies and deliveries in general. You will keep accurate records and regularly update inventory systems including carrying out stock checks. You will pick materials/components including kitting and issuing tools to the shop floor, and organise and deliver items to the relevant department.
We’d like to see applications from candidates with excellent communication skills who have previous stores experience – you’ll be confident with stock systems, and comfortable working in an industrial setting. A forklift licence and experience is preferred, although training and certification are available if needed.
Working 07.00 – 16.00 Mon – Fri in walking distance of Bridgwater town centre you will benefit from a good salary, private health care (after 6 months), and an attendance bonus (after 3 months). You will receive additional holiday days in line with increasing service.
