We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Hospitality Team Leader to join our client in the education sector based in Wimborne; this opportunity is offered on a temporary to permanent basis for the right person.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role ensuring high standards are upheld and maintained throughout service.
This will require effective and clear communication, monitoring and a proactive hands‑on role.
- To be operationally focussed ensuring all aspects of Front of House commitments and standards are overseen and delivered to exemplary standard
- Liaise with their line management regarding all hospitality and menu requirements. Ensure shift/teams are briefed
- Liaise with team members to ensure the daily tasks are assigned, ensuring staffing is sufficient to cover all shift commitments
- Positive and enthusiastic approach in leading the team, driving a positive and “can do” attitude in the department.
- Ability to work closely with all colleagues to achieve the highest aims of the department.
- Taking corrective action to resolve disputes, productivity issues and maintaining standards.
- To ensure accurate timekeeping of shifts are monitored and recorded correctly
- Ensure team members are operating to Departmental Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of all catering areas and supervising the General Assistant team duties.
- Assist with the preparation of all due diligence paperwork and submit as requested
- Assist in supporting any training required for team members
- Carry out lock up procedure in the evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of the allergen control process and be able to stand in in the absence of a manager to prepare allergen cards for core and hospitality.
This role is full time with Variable shifts, 7AM to 3PM & 12PM to 8PM, and is offered on a temporary to permanent basis.
The success candidate will be subject to child protection screening.
Staring pay rate £14.00 per hour.
