Mploy are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Order Picker to join a dynamic warehouse team. The successful candidates will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for processing, ensuring that all products are handled with care and meet quality standards. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and manage stock levels.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all items meet company standards before dispatch.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used for heavy items.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including unloading lorries and sorting incoming goods.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, particularly in order picking or packing roles.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is beneficial for effective inventory control.
