We’re recruiting for a QA Lab Technician to join our client in Beaminster on rolling temporary assignment.
Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, proactive, and has excellent attention to detail.
What’s on offer

- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday

The role will involve
- Supporting the day-to-day activities of the Quality Assurance department
- Carrying out goods-in sampling, density, and moisture analysis
- Completing blend build checks and approvals
- Physically preparing samples for testing
- Entering lab test results into SAP
- Supporting new product development work when required
- Tasting and releasing flavour granules
- Helping to ensure product safety, legality, integrity, and quality standards are maintained
- Working closely with internal departments to support quality objectives
We’re looking for someone who has
- Strong attention to detail
- A reliable and proactive approach to work
- A good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- The ability to follow procedures accurately
- Confidence working in a busy, quality-focused environment
Previous experience within quality, food production, manufacturing, laboratory work, or a similar environment would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a quality assurance role within a food manufacturing environment.
