This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Python Engineer who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership and mentorship responsibilities. You’ll play a key role in shaping engineering standards, supporting junior and mid-level developers and contributing to the wider technical direction of the platform, while remaining heavily involved in development and architecture work. The environment is modern, collaborative and engineering-focused, with genuine influence over technical decisions and platform evolution.
The Role
- Developing scalable backend systems and services using Python
- Mentoring and supporting other engineers across the team
- Driving engineering best practice and code quality standards
- Contributing to architecture and technical design discussions
- Working closely with product and leadership teams on delivery
- Helping improve development processes, CI/CD and platform reliability
- Remaining hands-on with coding and system design
- Supporting the continued growth of the engineering function

- Must have lived in the UK continuously for a minimum of 5 years due to security clearance requirements
