The Opportunity
We’re working with a respected building services specialist that continues to grow its BMS capability across commercial projects. They are now looking for an experienced BMS Engineer with strong Tridium Niagara Workbench expertise to support project delivery and mentor junior engineers. This role offers a mix of software engineering, graphics development, and technical leadership, working on projects typically valued around £300k, with additional remedial works in the region of £70k.
The Role
As a BMS Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality building management solutions, taking ownership of software configuration and system graphics while supporting the wider engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Extensive hands-on work with Tridium Niagara Workbench (core requirement).
- Development and modification of BMS software and system graphics.
- Working with IQ Vision and/or Aqua Vision platforms.
- Supporting and mentoring junior BMS engineers across projects.
- Contributing to the delivery of medium-to-large BMS projects (£300k+) and remedial works.
- Working closely with project teams to ensure systems are delivered on time and to specification.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong experience using Tridium Niagara Workbench.
- Proven BMS software engineering and graphics experience.
- Background working on commercial BMS projects.
Desirable
- Experience with IQ Vision and/or Aqua Vision.
- Previous mentoring or supervisory experience.
- Exposure to system upgrades and remedial works.
