Product Owner – Product Delivery Bristol | Hybrid | £55-65,000 + Benefits The Opportunity We're partnering with an innovative, investor-backed technology business that's entering an exciting phase of commercial growth. As product demand increases, they're looking for a Product Owner to work closely with engineering teams, ensuring product strategy is translated into clear priorities and successfully delivered. Initially, you'll play a key role in delivering a major Innovate UK-funded product development programme, helping coordinate engineering activities, manage the product backlog and ensure delivery remains aligned with customer and commercial priorities. As the business continues to scale, you'll become a key member of the Product function, supporting future product releases and ongoing product development. The Role You'll be responsible for: * Owning and managing the product backlog. * Translating product strategy into clear user stories and engineering priorities. * Working closely with software, hardware and R&D teams to support product delivery. * Supporting delivery of a major Innovate UK-funded product development programme. * Prioritising engineering work alongside the Senior Product Manager and technical leadership. * Coordinating product releases and development milestones. * Ensuring customer requirements remain central throughout the development lifecycle. * Supporting validation, testing and product readiness activities. * Managing dependencies and working collaboratively to remove delivery blockers. * Helping establish scalable Product Ownership and Agile delivery processes as the business grows. About You You'll enjoy working closely with engineering teams and be passionate about turning ideas into successful products. You'll ideally have: * Previous experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager within a technology or engineering environment. * Experience managing product backlogs, user stories and product priorities. * Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies. * Experience working closely with software and multidisciplinary engineering teams. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities. * A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with a genuine passion for technology. Desirable * Previous experience delivering complex engineering or technology products, particularly within hardware, electronics, instrumentation, manufacturing, deep-tech or other technically advanced environments. * Experience supporting innovation, R&D or publicly funded technology programmes. * Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar Agile delivery tools. * Exposure to hardware/software integration and complex technical systems.
