We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Claims Handler to join our growing Motor claims team. You’ll play a key role in supporting us through the handling of your own portfolio of claims across third-party property damage, credit hire, personal injury and client-specific processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with motor claims experience who is passionate about delivering a first-class service while handling complex, technical claims.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage a dedicated caseload of motor claims, including technical referrals and escalations.
- Communicate professionally with customers, insurers, suppliers, and partners via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Analyse, assess, and interpret information relevant to each claim to drive fair and accurate outcomes.
- Stay up to date with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
- Set and maintain appropriate financial reserves throughout the claim’s lifecycle.
- Support with coaching and training of team members when required.
- Leverage cutting-edge claims management systems to streamline processing time and reduce overall claim costs.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent, high-quality service.

- Previous experience in motor claims handling is essential.
- Exposure to repair, credit hire, and total loss cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to adapt and work well under pressure.
- Experience dealing with complaints.
