The Opportunity As an AD Claims Handler, you will play a key role in managing motor claims from first notification through to settlement.
You will be responsible for validating claims, conducting investigations where required, and supporting policyholders throughout the claims journey while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Validate new claims by reviewing policy information, accident circumstances, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate claim progression.
Conduct claim investigations where required, gathering evidence and liaising with relevant parties to establish liability and claim validity.
Take ownership of a caseload of motor claims, managing each claim efficiently from initial notification through to resolution.
Communicate regularly with policyholders, third parties, insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders, providing timely updates and managing expectations.
Take and make outbound and inbound telephone calls to discuss claim circumstances, obtain information, resolve queries, and progress claims.
Review and assess documentation received in support of claims, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
Authorise and process claim payments in line with company procedures and delegated authority levels.
Maintain accurate claim notes and records within the claims management system.
Manage inbox enquiries and correspondence, responding promptly to policyholders, brokers, insurers, and clients.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to ensure claims are handled efficiently and in accordance with company service standards.
Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring customers are kept informed throughout the claims process.
What we are looking for: Experience in motor claims handling, insurance, or vehicle repair coordination desired.
Experience with dealing with high volume calls is essential.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
Competence in using MS Office and claims management systems.
A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
