Your exciting opportunity
As a Claims Handler in the DMU team you will be organised and methodical, you will be tasked with organising vehicle repairs and hire vehicles for policy holders and third parties following on from a road traffic accident.
- Work with various stakeholders such as policy holders, insurance companies, brokers, vehicle repairers and vehicle suppliers to ensure the smooth and effective completion of the claimants claim.
- Take responsibility of a caseload of claims, organising the relevant services for each claim updating the customer every step of the journey.
- Manage costs and expectations from clients and customers around hire, repair timescales and total loss claims.
- Organise invoices received from the repair and hire providers, ensuring they are accurate and submitting for payment / approval.
- Inbox management responding to the enquires, from cover holder, clients, and brokers.
- Work as part of a team to ensure that the customer is kept informed every step of the way.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in motor claims handling, insurance, or vehicle repair coordination desired.
- Experience with dealing with high volume calls is essential.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Competence in using MS Office and claims management systems.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
