Compensation & Benefits

Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the store is open for business as per company trading hours, and customers are served quickly and professionally while providing excellent customer service.
- Managing stock, maximising sales, ensuring product availability, merchandising and promotions within the store.
- Managing KPIs, controlling wage costs, and managing waste along with stock and cash shortages.
- Responsible for overseeing the retail sale of alcohol and implementing challenge 25.
- Recruit and manage the performance of your team, ensuring they are trained to the correct level for their role.
- Completion of the daily backâoffice paperwork and banking, ensuring it is completed accurately within the allocated timelines.
- Overseeing food preparation and ensuring food safety records are completed to company standards.
- Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness is met across the store and forecourt.
- Managing fuel stocks, ensuring fuel deliveries are safely and legally handled to meet the needs of the business and in line with petroleum regulations.
- Implementing company policies and procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner.
Knowledge and Skills
