Legal Advisor - Litigation Manchester | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days WFH after onboarding)

The Opportunity

You’ll manage an active caseload of approximately 80-120 personal injury matters, handling a mix of litigated and pre-litigated claims, including:

  • Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims
  • Employer Liability (EL) claims
  • Public Liability (PL) claims
  • Credit Hire matters
  • Fast Track and Multi-Track litigation (depending on experience level)

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing their own files, making decisions, and seeing cases through from instruction to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing your own caseload of personal injury files
  • Progressing litigated matters in accordance with CPR and litigation protocols
  • Drafting court documents, witness statements and instructions to Counsel
  • Reviewing liability, quantum and evidential issues
  • Conducting settlement negotiations and litigation strategy discussions
  • Maintaining excellent client care throughout the lifecycle of a claim
  • Achieving performance and financial targets
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues while taking ownership of your own caseload
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards
