Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of field engineers, promoting collaboration and high performance.
- Oversee maintenance operations across communal heating systems, including HIUs, metering, AMR technologies, and prepayment infrastructure.
- Ensure team readiness through effective resource planning, training, and equipment management.
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Conduct quality audits to uphold standards and drive efficiency.
- Lead operational planning and implement process improvements.
- Maintain compliance with policies, contracts, and health & safety regulations.
- Collaborate with regional teams, contractors, and schedulers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Report monthly KPIs and performance trends.
- Support commercial growth and manage budgets effectively.
- Champion safety through risk assessments, method statements, and stock control oversight.
About You
- Experienced leader of remote or field‑based engineering teams.
- Strong technical understanding of communal heating systems.
- Familiar with AMR technologies (Mbus, Radio, DLC) and prepayment systems.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable working across multi‑site, multi‑client environments.
- IOSH Health & Safety qualification (or willingness to obtain).
- Digitally confident with mobile work technology.
