An excellent opportunity for a Care Paralegal to join a busy and growing Childcare team. You'll play a key role supporting solicitors on a varied caseload, gaining hands‑on experience in publicly funded family law. This role offers flexibility, development, and clear progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for clients and enquiries
- Assist with case management from file opening to closure
- Support solicitors with Legal Aid (LAA/CCMS) applications and billing
- Draft correspondence, court documents and file notes
- Prepare bundles and support trial preparation
- Liaise with counsel, experts and third parties
- Manage diaries, appointments and client meetings
- Attend client meetings and court (note-taking)
- Handle administrative duties and general team support
About You
- Previous paralegal or legal admin experience (ideally in Care/Family)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Confident working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Experience with Legal Aid/CCMS and case management systems (desirable)
- Proactive, professional and client‑focused approach
