The Opportunity

MPJ Recruitment are working in partnership with a rapidly growing business within the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) space, offering an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join their team. This role provides a genuine entry point into M&A, combining telesales, lead generation, and relationship-building, with exposure to how deals are sourced and completed. You'll be engaging directly with business owners and playing a key role in identifying new opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Research and identify potential acquisition targets
  • Make outbound calls to financial advice firms
  • Build relationships with directors and business owners
  • Qualify and validate new opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and track activity
  • Book meetings and manage follow-ups for senior members of the team
  • Support with admin and project-based tasks where required
  • Gain exposure to the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence and deal processes

What We're Looking For

  • A strong interest in developing a career within M&A / corporate finance
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
