Location: Birmingham Salary: £26,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus Job Type: Full Time | Office Based
We are looking for a customer-focused Vehicle Hire Handler to join our team based at Birmingham Business Park. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you’ll play a key role in delivering a smooth and efficient vehicle hire experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage vehicle hire and repair bookings by phone and online.
- Record customer details and process payments.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and repairers to coordinate bookings and resolve queries.
- Arrange vehicle deliveries and collections.
- Provide regular customer updates throughout the hire process.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in vehicle hire, car rental or customer service.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Professional, friendly and customer-focused.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Automotive or vehicle repair experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Flexible to work shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm, plus one Saturday morning per month (9:00am - 12:00pm).
- 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C/9-4) or equivalent.
