Location: Blackburn

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (Flexible hours and hybrid working arrangement available)

The Role

As part of the Medical Negligence team, you will play a key role in supporting clients through sensitive and complex claims while gaining valuable hands‑on legal experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the management of a caseload of medical negligence matters
  • Supporting senior fee earners on a variety of ongoing cases
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documentation
  • Reviewing and analysing medical records and evidence
  • Liaising with clients, medical experts, and third parties
  • Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the department

We’re looking for someone who is organised, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a legal environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
