The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority Fee Earner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload of Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority claims, providing expert advice and support to clients throughout the claims process from inception through to settlement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of CICA claims from initial instruction to settlement
- Providing clear and professional advice to clients throughout the claims process
- Preparing and submitting CICA applications and supporting evidence
- Liaising with the CICA, medical experts, and other relevant third parties
- Reviewing decisions and submitting reviews and appeals where necessary
- Ensuring compliance with CICA scheme rules and deadlines
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records
Skills and Attributes
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
