Crime Duty Solicitor Responsibilities:

  • You will have responsibility for and will develop and deal with a caseload of Crime Work including representation at the Police Station and Magistrates Court.
  • Part of the out of hours rota for Police Station attendance.
  • You will be enthusiastic and energetic in developing and maintaining local and regional networks to attract and secure new business.

Role Specific:

  • A current practicing certificate for either the SRA or CILEX.
  • Own strong client following.
  • Ability to run your own caseload and acting with autonomy.
  • Ability to conduct marketing and building caseload.
  • If not Duty Qualified a willingness to become accredited.
