Are you an experienced claims handler? Do you have experience within cross class claims (property & motor)? MPJ Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading client based in the Bristol area. We're seeking to recruit a motivated, professional and dedicated Claims Handler to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering a high quality, professional advice service to your clients concerning any claims issues.
Your primary task is to liaise with insurers and other interested parties to expedite the claim and you to take a real sense of pride in effectively over delivering against your clients’ expectations.
Commercial Claims Handler Duties:- Advise and update your clients about relevant events and discussions during their claim.
- Ensure complete customer happiness by regularly assessing the status of claims with clients, insurers, recovery agents and solicitors.
- Offer appropriate technical advice to clients throughout the duration of the claim.
- Encourage, show compassion and effectively handle your client’s expectations.
- Have open conversations with your Line Manager about any issues, queries or areas of concern which may arise.
- Build and maintain your market, insurance, legislation and other technical knowledge.
- Efficiently run claims and keep the system updated with all relevant information.
- Balance your workload in order to service the client promptly and expertly.
- With superb administrative skills, be task focused with a desire to develop and cultivate your career with us.
- Update insurers and recovery agents, informing them of any additional information acquired during the claims process.
- Ensure that claims statistics are accurate and produced in accordance to SLAs.
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, and the option to buy 5 more days.
