Are you an experienced Motor Claims Handler with experience handling Third Party Vehicle Damage, Property Damage or Credit Hire claims?
We are currently recruiting for a Third Party Claims Handler to join a well-established and reputable insurance business based in Bolton.
Due to continued growth and internal promotions, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious claims professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
The Role
As a Third Party Claims Handler, you will manage a portfolio of Third Party Vehicle Damage and Property Damage claims, ensuring cases are handled efficiently while delivering an excellent level of service to all parties involved.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing a portfolio of Third Party Motor and Property Damage claims.
- Prioritising your own workload and managing claims efficiently.
- Investigating claims and establishing liability.
- Handling more complex cases, including Liability and High Value claims.
- Liaising with solicitors, insurers, accident management companies and other third parties.
- Identifying and referring potentially fraudulent activity.
- Working closely with internal departments throughout the claims process.
- Delivering a consistently high level of customer service.
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience within Motor Claims, Third Party Claims or Credit Hire who is looking for their next career opportunity.
You will ideally have
- Previous experience handling Third Party Motor claims and/or Credit Hire claims.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to build effective relationships with customers and third parties.
- Strong organisational and computer skills.
- The ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- A CII qualification, or the willingness to work towards this.
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
Candidates with 2+ years of Motor Claims experience may be considered for the higher end of the salary range.
