MPJ Recruitment are currently working with a well-established and growing repair management business in Manchester, who are looking for a Repair Claims Handler to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, managing multiple cases and communicating with a range of suppliers and stakeholders to make sure repairs are progressing smoothly.
The Role
As a Repair Claims & Supply Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing the repair journey and making sure each claim continues to progress within the required timescales.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Managing a caseload of vehicle repair claims from instruction through to completion.
Working closely with repair networks, engineers, recovery providers and salvage partners.
Chasing outstanding actions and ensuring any delays are dealt with promptly.
Monitoring claims and identifying potential issues before they become a problem.
Maintaining accurate records across internal systems.
Communicating regularly with suppliers and other key stakeholders.
Building positive working relationships with repair partners.
Ensuring claims are handled in line with agreed SLAs, targets and compliance requirements.
Managing a busy workload while maintaining accuracy and a high level of service.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident communicating with people at all levels.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience within motor insurance, claims, accident management, vehicle repairs or a similar environment.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
The ability to manage a number of cases and priorities at the same time.
Good IT, administration and Excel skills.
A proactive approach to resolving issues and preventing delays.
