Role Summary

The Avionic Mechanic is responsible for carrying out avionic maintenance tasks, aircraft wiring installations, and modification embodiment/testing.

Accountability

  • Ensure work is completed according to the latest technical data.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Organize and execute work efficiently within their area of responsibility.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform electrical and avionic maintenance tasks as directed by the Licensed Engineer, ensuring correct documentation.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the hangar and workshops, paying attention to designated work areas.
  • Follow all relevant company and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Ensure contract staff are properly instructed, briefed, and adhere to quality systems.
  • Raise work cards and requisitions as directed.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tooling, and equipment in good condition.
  • Perform any additional duties as required by the Deputy Head of Maintenance.

Authorities

  • Request assistance or provide support to the Hangar Supervisor, Deputy Head of Maintenance, and Head of Maintenance.
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed.
