MPI are looking for a Stores Person based in St Albans. The Company is a manufacturer of low voltage switchgear. The position of Stores Person would be based at the Company’s manufacturing facility located in St. Albans, Hertfordshire.
The main roles at the Company’s manufacturing facility include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Receiving goods from delivery vehicles.
- Booking receipts of goods onto the computer system.
- Storing goods on dedicated racks.
- Allocating materials to shop floor as required.
The successful candidate must have educational skills to deal directly with suppliers and senior management via email. The stores are generally not manned and the position is that of a lone worker for the majority of time. A forklift licence would be desirable but not essential.
