MPI are looking for PERMANENT Service & Installation Pump Engineers, for our client based in London. Ideally London, but will consider Kent, Surrey, Southampton, Reading, Oxford etc.
Hours: Typically, start at 8 and finish at 4:30; however, this is work dependent. Anything over 9 hours a day is paid at overtime rates.

Line Manager: Service Office Manager
About the role:
In your role as Service and Installation Engineer, you will provide all aspects of on-site servicing, repairs and installation works covering domestic and commercial contracts throughout the UK. On-call duty and standby may be required on a rotary basis to allow for 24/7 service cover.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Understand and adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Maintaining accurate data using a mobile device (customer, asset & contract information)
- Carrying out site surveys and providing relevant information to the office
- Actively be aware of opportunities to promote Client’s Services
- Perform Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
- Perform advanced fault finding and repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
- Lead and assist with on-site pre-installation surveys and on-site installation of pumps and pressurised systems
- Complete and submit all required paperwork
- Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary changes
- Provide accurate information to the relevant department or Manager
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues

- Installations of pumps and pressurised systems
- Knowledge of pumps and pressurised systems
- UK Driving Licence
