MPI are looking for a Cleanroom assembler for our client based in Milton Keynes.
Ongoing contract. Start rate £13.20p/h PAYE.
Shift: Tues – Thurs 07:00 – 17:00 & Fri 07:00 – 16:30 (30min unpaid lunch each day). OT available on Mondays.
The role will involve bench assembly of a variety of electro-mechanical subcomponents using basic hand tools. Preference will be given to anyone with previous experience of working within a clean-room environment, although this is not essential.
Ideal applicants will be familiar with a variety of basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, spanners, measuring equipment, etc., and will have worked in a similar position previously. Knowledge of electrical tools (strippers & crimpers) and experience of basic wiring would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
Responsibilities include building, testing, and packing high-end pneumatic units for the semi-conductor industry, assembling from start to finish using assembly procedures and product specifications.
