Role Overview: The Avionic Mechanic is responsible for carrying out avionic maintenance tasks, aircraft wiring installations, and modification embodiment/testing.
Accountability:
- Ensure work is completed according to the latest technical data.
- Maintain high-quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Organize and execute work efficiently within their area of responsibility.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform electrical and avionic maintenance tasks as directed by the Licensed Engineer, ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed.
- Maintain good housekeeping within the hangar and workshops, paying attention to designated work areas.
- Adhere to company and Health and Safety procedures during all activities.
- Ensure contract staff are properly instructed, briefed, and work according to the company's quality system.
- Raise work cards and requisitions as directed by the Licensed Engineer.
- Maintain company vehicles, tooling, and equipment in good condition.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Deputy Head of Maintenance.
Authorities:
- Request assistance from and provide support to the Hangar Supervisor, Deputy Head of Maintenance, and Head of Maintenance.
- Request assistance from other departments as needed.
