Role Overview: The Avionic Mechanic is responsible for carrying out avionic maintenance tasks, aircraft wiring installations, and modification embodiment/testing.

Accountability:

  • Ensure work is completed according to the latest technical data.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Organize and execute work efficiently within their area of responsibility.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Perform electrical and avionic maintenance tasks as directed by the Licensed Engineer, ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed.
  • Maintain good housekeeping within the hangar and workshops, paying attention to designated work areas.
  • Adhere to company and Health and Safety procedures during all activities.
  • Ensure contract staff are properly instructed, briefed, and work according to the company's quality system.
  • Raise work cards and requisitions as directed by the Licensed Engineer.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tooling, and equipment in good condition.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Deputy Head of Maintenance.

Authorities:

  • Request assistance from and provide support to the Hangar Supervisor, Deputy Head of Maintenance, and Head of Maintenance.
  • Request assistance from other departments as needed.
