MPI are looking for a Wirer for our client based in Milton Keynes.
Ongoing contract: £16.36p/h PAYE or £21.81p/h Umbrella, Monday - Friday.
Overview:
Working in the Assemblies team, you will be building assemblies and panels to customer’s design and specification. The client is looking for someone with previous wiring experience to:
- Complete various LV assemblies as dictated by current orders.
- Complete various first off panel builds to customer specifications and drawings.
- Work within the times set for builds but maintain a high-quality standard.
- Able to read from and work with various types of electrical / mechanical schematics drawings.
- Assist with the development of apprentices.
- Maintain job packs and other associated paperwork with Job Packs.
- Produce plotted and printed labels.
- Work with other team members of staff including other departments to streamline manufacturing process to maintain efficiency.
- Feed back to the Engineering Team during and on completion of any specific updates required for future repeat builds.
- Take on additional tasks in order to meet departmental, project related or developmental objectives.
- Observe Health & Safety policy and procedures.
- Take charge of your personal development and contribute to the evaluation of performance in line with our clients core competencies and learning and development objectives.
