MPI have a requirement for Aircraft Structural Fitters (CAT A) to work in the Depth cell on site in Gosport, Hampshire. Applicants must have served an Aircraft Apprenticeship and have copies of their papers.
Our Client is looking for applicants who preferably have structural helicopter experience; however, they will consider applicants who have recent structures experience but not worked on helicopters.
You must be able to carry out:
- Modification installation
- Rectification on structure components
- Structures/Rivet/SMW
Ideally, rotary experience is preferred. The contract is ongoing as per customer requirements and is deemed out of scope of IR35. Basic hours are 37 per week. Our Client has advised that there are 40-60 hours (including weekends) available with overtime but not guaranteed.
CAT A Rate of pay is £36.63 per hour LTD/£27.95 per hour PAYE. There may be opportunities for you to gain your CAT B stamp; once achieved, your hourly rate will increase to £38.72 Ltd or £29.56 PAYE.
Applicants will require valid Human Factors/EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certificates if selected for the role. Basic security clearance is also required for the role.
