We recognise the market need to be flexible and responsive to meet the demands of a constantly changing landscape, focusing on low to medium volume high mix product profiles with localised support.
The Role:
To assemble product in accordance with defined build instructions for a variety of major OEMs in market sectors including Automotive, Clean Energy, Communication & Broadcasting, Consumer, Defence & Aerospace, Homeland Security, IP Development Platforms, Medical, Scientific Research & Space.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assemble product in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards and defined build instructions.
- Produce populated PCB assemblies using the SMT line, to timescales and quality levels determined by procedures and customer instructions every time.
- Preparation of stencils and printing equipment.
- Completing batches of customer PCB assemblies, in-line inspection of quality and process consistency.
- Ensure all deviations from the standard are clearly documented on build prior to commencement of work.
- Ensure defined processes are robust, clear and concise to achieve required standards.
- Ensure all processes are stringently adhered to, maintaining a high-quality of work that meets if not exceeds expectation.
- Notification to immediate supervision on any job you cannot achieve the quoted build times.
Skills and experience:
- Experience in running Pick and Place SMT Machines.
- Experience of Pre-kitting of SMT machines.
- Ability to program and operate Stencil Printers.
- Proficient in load placement program and set value checks for SMT Lines (Europlacer experience an advantage).
- Ability to create/adjust component packages checks for SMT Lines (Europlacer experience an advantage).
- Carrying out maintenance on SMT line as required.
