MPI are looking for PERMANENT Service & Repairs Engineers, for our client based in London.
Location: Ideally London, but will consider Kent, Surrey, Southampton, Reading, Oxford etc.
Hours: Typically, start at 8 and finish at 4:30 however this is work dependent; anything over 9 hours a day is paid at overtime rates.

Line Manager: Service Manager
About the role: In your role as Service & Repairs Engineer you will provide all aspects of on-site servicing, repairs and installation works covering domestic and commercial contracts throughout the UK. On call duty and standby will be required on a rotary basis to allow for 24/7 service cover.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Understand and adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Maintaining accurate data using a mobile device (customer, asset & contract information)
- Carrying out site surveys and providing relevant information to the office
- Actively be aware of opportunities to promote Client’s Services
- Perform Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
- Perform fault finding and repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
- Assist with on-site installation of pumps and pressurised systems
- Complete and submit all required paperwork
- Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary changes
- Provide accurate information to the relevant department or Manager
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues
Essential qualifications, experience and skills required:
- Knowledge of pumps and pressurised systems
- Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
- Fault finding and minor repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
- UK Driving Licence
- Organised and self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Customer focused
- A pleasant and friendly ‘can do’ attitude
- Health and Safety training required for the role
- Good time keeping
- Be flexible and adaptable
Knowledge and skills to develop:
- Advanced fault finding and repairs
- Further Health and Safety training required for the role
- Further product training as required
