MPI are looking for PERMANENT Service & Advanced Repairs Engineers, for our client based in London Location Ideally London, but will consider Kent, Surrey, Southampton, Reading, Oxford etc. Hours Typically, start at 8 and finish at 4:30 however this is work dependent anything over 9 hours a day is paid at over time rates Benefits * Discretionary bonus scheme (8%) * 25 days holiday * Life assurance * Healthcare cash plan * 8% bonus (if goals are achieved) * Overtime, average per engineer at least £5000.00/year. * £50 per night staying away allowance – if this is needed * BUPA (Healthcare) after 3 months. * Use of company vehicle out of hours. Line Manager: Technical Services Manager (North) Direct Reports: None About the role In your role as Service & Advanced Repairs Engineer you will provide all aspects of on-site servicing, repairs and installation works covering domestic and commercial contracts throughout the UK. On call duty and standby will be required on a rotary basis to allow for 24/7 service cover. In this role your key responsibilities will include: Understand and adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements Maintaining accurate data using a mobile device (customer, asset & contract information) Carrying out site surveys and providing relevant information to the office Actively be aware of opportunities to promote Client’s Services Perform Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems Perform advanced fault finding and repairs of pumps and pressurised systems Assist with on-site installation of pumps and pressurised systems Complete and submit all required paperwork Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary Provide accurate information to the relevant department or Manager Provide training and guidance to colleagues Essential qualifications, experience and skills required: Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems Advanced fault finding and minor repairs of pumps and pressurised systems Knowledge of pumps and pressurised systems UK Driving Licence Organised and self-motivated Attention to detail Customer focused A pleasant and friendly ‘can do’ attitude Health and Safety training required for the role Good time keeping Be flexible and adaptable Knowledge and skills to develop: Further Health and Safety training required for the role Further product training as required Installations of pumps and pressurised systems
