MPI requires a Temporary Legal Coordinator for our client based in London
Rate: £14 to £16 per hour
Duration: 26.09.2025
Hybrid: 2 days in office (Subject to change depending on work)
Interview: Wednesday 9th of April 2025
Overview:
- Provide proactive assistance to lawyers by creating and maintaining efficient and effective filing systems that reflect best case management practice, comply with professional standards and enable solicitors to access information in the correct format whenever required.
- Produce complex highly accurate long form legal documentation (e.g. long form contracts, reports and instructions to Counsel) to help the legal team achieve their objectives in an efficient and professional manner.
- Prepare general legal correspondence applying broad knowledge of legal principles, practices and procedures.
- Help with research for cases, gathering and organising necessary documents and submitting paperwork as required to internal clients and external advisers.
- Organise events and meetings, including the booking of venues, travel and accommodation to ensure effective use of lawyers’ time.
- Manage complex timetables to ensure that lawyers understand deadlines that they are working to and that external advisors are kept up to date with developments as required to enable them to provide effective and efficient support.
- Act as the first point of contact for external contacts (e.g. Counsel and external law firms) handling complex and confidential situations and requests in a timely and effective manner.
- Frequently liaise with senior level internal and external contacts, screening and prioritising all forms of incoming communications.
- Undertake other duties appropriate to the post including the collation and preparation of invoices, raising purchase orders and processing expenses to ensure compliance with internal processes.
