CAD Design Engineer in Leeds

DESIGN ENGINEER / CAD CAM PROGRAMMER

Job overview:

• Design and develop existing and new products
• Create CNC programs for laser machine, turret press and press brakes using Radan software, ensuring processes are being followed.
• Produce and check CAD Drawings, ensuring high levels of accuracy
• Improve manufacturing processes where possible

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience with RADAN is preferred, other CAD packages considered
• Knowledge of Amada press brakes and laser machines
• Knowledge of sheet metal / fabrication manufacturing
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Be a good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the company and team members
• Great attitude towards problem solving
• Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills

• Hours: 36 hours per week, 7.00 – 4.30pm Monday – Thursday
