MPI are looking for a temporary Senior Technician (Fleet 18.38 to 20.56/h on a grade F ( 35,468 to 39,671).
About the Role As a Senior Technician, you will carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair, inspection, and diagnostic work while supporting the Workshop Manager in the day-to-day coordination of workshop activities.
You will also provide technical guidance to colleagues and help ensure the efficient delivery of fleet maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities 1.
To undertake a range of repair, maintenance and safety checks as directed, relating to the council s fleet of vehicles, plant and machinery.
Ensure that all works are carried out to the standards defined in current legislation, codes of practice and manufacturers specifications. 2.
Ensure the maintenance of accurate records of all work undertaken on the vehicle fleet and machinery. 3.
Deputise for the Workshop Manager as appropriate, planning and co-ordinating the day to day activities of the Team and directing staff as appropriate.
