MPI is looking for a GENERAL ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE for our client based in St. Albans
Contract: Temp to Perm
37.5 hours, M-F
Salary: £13.00 to £15.00 / Hour
The Company is a manufacturer of low voltage switchgear. The position of General Assembly Operative would be based at the Company\’s manufacturing facility located in St. Albans with the opportunity to join the site installation team. It would suit an individual who is fully competent in the use of hand tools. The position will cover a variety of tasks and the successful applicant will need to be flexible in their approach to work.
The main roles at the Company\’s manufacturing facility include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Assembly of sheet metal enclosures.
- Fitting electrical components to chassis plates and external covers.
- Fitting copper busbar systems.
- Assist in the manufacturing process wherever required
