MPI are looking for a FITTER / WIRE OPERATIVE for our client based in St. Albans Temp to Perm 37.5 hours per week M – F Salary £14.00 to £17.00 / Hour The Company is a manufacturer of low voltage switchgear. The position of Fitter / Wire Operative would be based at the Company’s manufacturing facility located in St. Albans with the opportunity to join the site installation team. This position entails the fitting and wiring of electrical power components within sheet metal enclosures. This would include assisting the fitter operatives with the installation of main busbar systems when required. The ability to be able to wire from electrical schematic diagrams is essential. The main roles with this position include (but are not limited to) the following: * Wiring electrical components in accordance with schematic diagrams. * Fitting electrical components to chassis plates and external covers. * Fitting copper busbar systems. * Assist with installation of LV switchgear at site when required
