MPI are looking for an Aircraft Wheel Mechanic.
Location: Stansted
Exciting opportunity for an experienced aircraft wheel and brake mechanic to work for a growing company.
Main responsibilities:
- Disassembly of aircraft wheels
- Technical cleaning of wheels and relevant components
- Paint stripping
- Re-working of assemblies to include blending, bush fitment and re-protection
- Assembly of aircraft wheels
- Reading and understanding of component maintenance manuals and following technical instructions
Ideal candidate profile:
- Previous wheel and brake experience with industry experience required.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and accurately follow instructions
- Fluent oral and written English
Hours:
9 day a fortnight: Monday to Thursday 7.30 to 5pm, Friday 7.30 to 1pm (weeks 1), Week 2 Friday off.
