Working times 8 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8.0 to 15.30 Overview The client is an engineering company supplying high-quality, turnkey solutions to leading OEMs and tiered suppliers in the aerospace industry. With a strong reputation for craftsmanship and innovation, we specialise in low-volume, bespoke components manufactured to exacting standards. The Role We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner – Setter- Programmer to join the skilled team, to produce low volume batch production. — each component is unique, offering variety and challenge on a daily basis. You’ll be responsible for, setting, proving out and operating CNC turning machines, ensuring complex aerospace parts are produced accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibility * Work independently on Mazak and Fanuc controls. * Interpret technical engineering drawings to develop machining strategies. * Devise effective workholding solutions for bespoke components. * Program, set and operate CNC Lathes to produce precision aerospace components. * Ensure all work meets tight tolerances and quality standards. * Work collaboratively with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges. What We’re Looking For * Experience as a CNC turner in a high-precision, low-volume environment. * Ability to work from complex technical drawings with minimal supervision. * Familiarity with one or more of the following controls, Mazatrol, and Fanuc control systems. * Aerospace machining experience preferred. * Methodical, detail-oriented, and committed to producing work of the highest quality
