MPI have a requirement for an Aircraft Weapons Trainer to be based at Cosford.

The Aircraft Weapons Instructor position is an ongoing contract, working 37 hours per week for 44.4 weeks per year. (Due to holiday shutdown periods), for which holiday will accrue to cover the shut-down period (if PAYE). However, there may be additional stand-down for Air-shows where there will not be a need for trainers to be site. which could be a further couple of weeks, this will be discussed in more detail at interview stage.
Rate of pay: In Scope Umbrella Β£37.68 per hour /Β£32.94 per hour PSC/Β£27.50 per hour PAYE
This position is classed as in scope of IR35 due to it being in the public sector.
Normal working hours are 08.30 β 17.00 Monday β Friday and 08.30 β 16.30 Friday. There are times when candidates are required to work outside of these hours and if this happens they are given time off in lieu.
The successful candidates will be responsible to the Aircraft Training Manager for classroom and practical instruction on a topic within the aircraft discipline and various allied subjects. Ancillary duties include lesson preparation and the production of training support material. xiskglj Responsibilities comprise the control and supervision of students including the application of Health and Safety and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.
