Job Description
MPI have requirements for Aircraft Seat Mechanics to work on site at Luton Airport. Start: Oct/Nov 2026 for winter program. Duration: Until the end of May/June 2027. Shifts: DAYS - Monday - Friday 07.00 - 16.30. Half hour unpaid lunch.
These roles are in scope of IR35.
Duties
- Stripping, fitting, and repairing aircraft seats including mechanisms, hinges, brackets, arms, seat backs and base, seat covers, as required, on the Boeing aircraft.
- Remove and refit from aircraft.
Experience required
Candidates must have previous experience in this role in an aircraft environment.
Successful applicants in this role would be required to undergo a reference check for the last 5 years of employment.
If the applicant has resided in a country for 6 months or longer within the last 5 years, a Criminal Record Check would be required.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be residing in the UK.
