Aircraft Fitter (Days & Nights)
MPI are looking for skilled and experienced Aircraft Mechanics to work our clients winter maintenance season at Luton Airport
Nights
- £38.46 ph – Umbrella
- 46hrs pw
- Monday – Thursday (10 hour shifts – Paid 11.5)
- Starting ASAP
- Until May/June 2026
Days
- £36.62 ph – Umbrella
- 50hrs pw
- Starting ASAP
- Until May/June 2026
Duties:
- Performing heavy base maintenance/\'C\' checks on aircraft
- Ideal candidate will have 10 years + experience on Boeing Fleet
- Experience in carrying out major Hangar Work
- Able to work unsupervised
- Good Hand Skills
- C Checks
- Landing Gear removal and refit
- Changing Brakes
- Fault Finding & Rectification work on systems hydraulics and pneumatics/air con
- APU
Airside Pass
Because this role is based airside, if selected, the candidate would have to undergo a Full Airside Pass. This entails having to reference the individual for the last 5 years of employment/education. A Criminal Record Check (CRC) would also have to be obtained from any country resided/worked in for 6 months or more within the last 5 years.
