Job Title: Power Platform Specialist

Location: London, UK

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Power Platform Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate processes, improve workflows, and drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom business applications using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven).
  • Automate business workflows and integrate systems using Power Automate.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize data and provide insights.
  • Develop and manage Power Virtual Agents to assist with self-service solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and third-party systems via APIs and connectors.
  • Maintain security, governance, and compliance across Power Platform applications.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Stay current on Microsoft Power Platform updates and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse, connectors, and integrations.
  • Experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Azure Logic Apps, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Experience with JSON, REST APIs, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell or JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate or higher.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Common Data Service (Data verse).
  • Experience working in regulated industries (Insurance domain).
