We are looking for a skilled Systems Analyst to join our Syndicate Application Management (AM) Team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at bridging business needs with technical solutions, working within an Agile environment, and contributing to Azure-based application delivery.
- Capture, analyse, and document functional and technical requirements from multiple channels including business users, production issues, and change initiatives.
- Translate requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, Scrum Masters, and Testers to refine backlog items and support sprint delivery.
- Facilitate and contribute to backlog refinement and Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure alignment with delivery vision, architecture, and design standards.
- Define acceptance criteria, support testing, and participate in defect triage and analysis.
- Maintain detailed system documentation and process flows.
- Support technical discussions and help assess solution feasibility and impacts.
Strong understanding of Insurance domain, systems architecture, and software engineering fundamentals. London Markets domain knowledge preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (including App Services). Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Confluence, and SharePoint. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments. Exposure to Microsoft technologies such as .NET and Azure. Background as a Software Developer or Architect. Experience as a Technical Product Owner or Proxy PO. Knowledge of UML modelling techniques. Relevant Business Analyst / Systems Analyst certifications.
