We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with strong experience delivering end-user and infrastructure projects within a financial services environment. This role requires strong project management fundamentals and a solid Waterfall delivery background. This is not a Programme Manager or Product Owner role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver end-user and infrastructure IT projects from initiation to closure
  • Manage the full project lifecycle using Waterfall methodology
  • Coordinate cross-functional technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Ensure compliance with financial services governance and controls
  • Produce clear project documentation and reporting
  • Provide transparent communication to senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager (not Programme Manager)
  • Strong experience delivering end-user and/or infrastructure projects
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Strong Waterfall delivery background (Agile exposure acceptable but not a substitute)
  • Excellent core project management fundamentals

Nice to Have

  • Experience in other regulated industries
  • Vendor and third-party supplier management experience
