We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with strong experience delivering end-user and infrastructure projects within a financial services environment. This role requires strong project management fundamentals and a solid Waterfall delivery background. This is not a Programme Manager or Product Owner role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver end-user and infrastructure IT projects from initiation to closure
- Manage the full project lifecycle using Waterfall methodology
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ensure compliance with financial services governance and controls
- Produce clear project documentation and reporting
- Provide transparent communication to senior stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager (not Programme Manager)
- Strong experience delivering end-user and/or infrastructure projects
- Financial services industry experience
- Strong Waterfall delivery background (Agile exposure acceptable but not a substitute)
- Excellent core project management fundamentals
Nice to Have
- Experience in other regulated industries
- Vendor and third-party supplier management experience
