The Role

This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities within Medical Affairs functions across pharmaceutical and biotech organisations. You will work closely with internal scientific and delivery teams to develop tailored proposals and convert opportunities into long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and continuously expand a database of potential clients and key decision-makers within Medical Affairs
  • Design and execute targeted cold email outreach campaigns
  • Conduct introductory calls and qualification meetings with prospective clients
  • Lead introductory meetings, capability presentations, and proposal discussions
  • Manage sales process cycle from initial contact through contract signature
  • Support marketing initiatives and represent the company at relevant industry events

Candidate Profile

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Business, or a related field
  • Based in the United Kingdom
  • Strong interest in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable conducting cold outreach (email and phone) and introductory client calls
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage prospect lists and maintain accurate CRM records
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn business development in a healthcare setting
